Farmsolutions GmbH was founded in 2014 by 3 brothers in East Styria, in the middle of Austria’s orchard. The family has been growing fruit intensively for 60 years as the main occupation with 80% apples, 10% cherries and 10% pears.

The experience of 25 years of irrigation on our own farm, the lack of service from the providers available at the time and the search for improved and, above all, water-saving methods prompted us to found Farmsolutions.

Water is a precious resource that must be used responsibly. The irrigation systems available on the market were not efficient and ecological enough for us.

More than half a century of experience in fruit growing, including decades of irrigation technology, have led us to this conclusion. Increasing weather conditions, frosts and repeated long periods of drought are not only causing problems for agriculture but are forcing farmers to invest in countermeasures in the medium term.

This was our motivation to found Farmsolutions.

An irrigation system or frost sprinkling requires planning that includes a variety of framework conditions. From our own experience, these plans were not really satisfactory, so we thought about how to optimally close this supply gap. Farmsolutions emerged from this and since then we have been planning irrigation systems, fertigation systems and frost protection sprinklers.

Even in a difficult economic environment, we are convinced that quality is the criterion that guarantees long-term success. For the customer and for ourselves. That is why our main focus is still on quality in planning and, above all, on quality in the products. We will always endeavour to find the planning with the best price-performance ratio for you, the customer.
